Thixotropic properties
Primary Indication:
Pulpotomy - may be placed after the partial or full removal of the coronal pulp.
Secondary Indications:
- Pulp exposures (direct pulp capping) - place directly on pulp exposures after haemostasis is achieved.
- Protective liner (indirect pulp capping) and as a base under a variety of substrates
Package contains 4-gram syringe and mixing tips.
TheraCal PT Properties
The chemical formulation of TheraCal PT consists of synthetic Portland Cement calcium silicate particles in a hydrophilic matrix which facilitates calcium release
Physical properties resist breakdown and degradation allowing a durable seal
Alkaline pH: pH = 11.5 @ 7 days
Moisture tolerant: Low water solubility
Radiopacity: TheraCal PT is radiopaque (2.45mm) allows for easy identification and differentiation from recurrent decay and other restorative materials.
Helpful Hints:
Each TheraCal PT syringe allows for 12 -15 pulpotomy treatments.
Leave your syringe in the pouch until you are ready to use. Once the pouch is opened, use within 90 days.
