On November 22 our Numedico partner ResearchSat had its first CubeSat launch 260 km above the Earth’s surface.
The 10cm cube weighed a little less than 1kg.
It aimed to demonstrate the capability of its lab modules to grow, interact with and monitor cultures of bacteria and fungi.
The ADI-Alpha CubeSat, designed and built by ResearchSat and owned by Swedish Space Corporation was successfully launched from Esrange Space Centre, Sweden.
MicroGravity has the potential to be the birthplace for cures to existing diseases, new medicines and production of material to enable humankind to explore the darkest corners of the universe.
