The BioSan CH-100 dry block heater and cooler is an ideal alternative to ice buckets for keeping samples and reagents cool while on the lab bench. The instrument can be configured with one of three different aluminium block options (please see below).
The heating/cooling range for the CH-100 is from -10°C to +100°C and the current and set temperatures are shown on an LCD display. The lid of the dry block bath can be closed to provide operator protection from hot blocks and to increase temperature stability. The unit is controlled through a touch pad.
Heating and cooling times to reach specific temperatures are as follows:
From +25°C to +37°C
3 minutes
From +25°C to +100°C
16 minutes
From +25°C to -10°C
21 minutes
From +100°C to -10°C
28 minutes
