Medisafe Plus, a division of Avem Quirks, specialises in medical refrigeration and superior monitoring solutions. Designed and proudly built in Australia since 2010, the Medisafe family of medical fridges and freezers are purpose-built for vaccine storage and follow the Australian Government Department of Health’s ‘Strive for 5’ vaccine storage guidelines. Our range also includes units for biomedical products, including blood fridges and human milk.

Medisafe Plus vaccine storage units come complete with the built in Medisafe Plus cloud monitoring system. Known as the AQ Box, the Medisafe Plus cloud monitoring system can provide access to live data via any web-enabled device such as a mobile phone, tablet, computer or laptop. If there is a temperature breach or power outage, it sends alerts via SMS and email.

Medisafe Plus units are also uniquely equipped with two temperature probes for rigorous monitoring of both the cabinet temperature and a simulated vaccine temperature, yielding the most accurate measurements possible. This is a unique feature in the market of vaccine protection units.

All Medisafe medical refrigerators are accredited by the Quality Care Pharmacy Program (QCPP accredited), a quality assurance program that was developed by the Pharmacy Guild of Australia in consultation with the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia. All Medisafe Plus refrigeration units are also approved for medical use by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA).
