Siemens Healthineers CT Scanner | SOMATOM ...
Experience clinical room layouts with potential OR equipment. Dive into the world of augmented reality.
Greater precision and excellent patient outcomes are compelling reasons for using advanced CT imaging for trauma diagnostics, surgery, interventional procedures, and radiation oncology. But there can be many obstacles in your way: the CT scanner is located far away, is currently blocked by another user, or patient transport would compromise safety. Accessing CT imaging under these circumstances is cumbersome because it requires many unwanted steps.
That is why we at Siemens Healthineers designed SOMATOM CT Sliding Gantry. It moves on rails where it needs to be: within your ER, OR, treatment bunker, or interventional suite when you want to perform CT imaging, or just out of the way when you need space.
Features & Benefits
The sliding gantry CT provides the advanced imaging functionality of a stationary scanner such as the reduction of metal artefacts (iMAR1) or our iterative reconstruction, consequently following ALARA, the paradigm to deliver the right image quality at a dose as low as reasonably achievable. Because the gantry slides over the patient, you never have to transfer the patient between tables. You can also count on increased CT utilization because with up to 12-meter rails the setup can serve two rooms with one scanner. This means that you can evaluate and treat patients in one room while another patient is being prepared next door.
Do you want to take the shortest possible route and avoid unnecessary steps? SOMATOM CT Sliding Gantry, the scanner that comes to you when you need it. Now you have the freedom to use CT imaging for diagnosing trauma patients, guiding surgery, performing interventional procedures, and to support radiation oncology planning fast and with confidence.
