The Haier DW-86L338J Ultra Low Freezer uses Vacuum Insulation Panels (VIP) that provide extra insulation. Heat loss is reduced by 25% and the energy consumption is cut back by more than 20%, allowing the total power consumption to be kept down to just only 7.5 kWh/day.
