Zero-Plastic™ products are made from renewable materials such as Tapioca Starch which are combined with other raw materials to create a mixture called resin. The resin is then put through a production process to create 100% biodegradable, Zero-Plastic™ products.

Tested against the Standard Test Method for Determining Aerobic Biodegradation of Plastic Materials under Composting Conditions (ASTM D5338), the use of bio-active compounds and swelling agents ensures that, when combined with heat and moisture, microorganisms in the environment are able to metabolise and break down Zero-Plastic™  products without causing harm to the environment.
