Alprojet Suction Line Cleaner | Alpro-jet ...
Procedure for Applying AlproJet to Suction System;
Daily – AlproJet D
Mix 1 litre of AlproJet D as a 5% solution (50ml of AlproJet D to 950ml of warm water 40o), in a suitable container.
Lift both suction hoses from their holders, with the valves open and solids strainer in place; introduce the ends to the solution such that a mixture of air and solution is taken up. About 300ml should be drawn up, the hoses should then be returned to their holders and allowed to sit for 5 minutes. This process allows the AlproJet D to react with the protein coating within the interior of the hoses.
Repeat the process of drawing up 300ml of solution as described above allowing a further 5 minute soaking.
Draw up the remainder of the solution and allow to soak again for 5 minutes.
Finally, flush the system with clean water.
If more than one surgery is being processed, use the soaking time to dose the next unit.
This process should be performed on a Daily Basis.
Weekly – AlproJet W
AlproJet W is applied in the same manner as above but on a Weekly Basis, or more frequently there is a high protein build-up or foaming occurs. After completing the AlproJet W treatment, the suction hoses may be removed from the unit and left soaking in clean water until the next use.
Please note; This is a two part cleaning process, both the daily and weekly procedures must be followed to complete the decontamination process.
