What material are they made of?
They are made from a soft thick foam, with two layers covering the shin bone.
Are they available in wool?
We do not have enough demand to keep stock of special wool Shinpads. If you would prefer wool, let us know and we can make them as a special item.
Can they be used on the arms?
Yes – they can be used on the arms but they may seem slightly bulky. You may want to have a look at the Arm Shearing Sleeve as an alternative.
To Fit: Place the Shinpad around the Patient's lower leg with the special soft elastic Hook and Loop Tape located around the back of the ankle. Cut the Hook and Loop Tape to size if it is too long.
