Sleep Monitoring System | P-Series
It is an 18 channel polysomnograph (PSG) unit with comprehensive respiratory and electrophysiological monitoring facilities. This portable system allows the convenience and cost-savings of home-monitoring, but still delivers the quality and sophistication demanded by the best sleep laboratories in the world.
Features & Benefits
Standard features include: graphic LCD for waveform display (PC or laptop optional), integrated electrode impedance checking, channel calibrations, nasal cannula airflow monitoring for detection of inspiratory flow limitation, the recording of uncompressed data on all channels and dual slot PCMCIA capability.
An innovative vest is also available for enhanced patient comfort, especially in the home environment. Signals from external devices, such as CPAP mask pressure, TcCO2, pH and blood pressure can be calibrated using customised steps or curves.
Remote monitoring of a patient's PSG study can be conducted in real-time, via serial connection, direct modem connection or over the internet. Internet monitoring means a number of remote patients can be studied simultaneously. Remote functions include impedance measurement and CPAP titration.
The P-Series provides enormous flexibility in the way the collected data are displayed. Fully-adjustable split timebases are available, as are a range of trace and polygraph user options to enhance the diagnostic overview.
The one computer can conduct sleep studies (even on multiple patients) at the same time as earlier studies are being scored and reported.
The P-Series Family of Portable Recording Systems:
The P-Series PS2
18 Channel Polysomnography
Full PSG recording capability in the palm of your hands
The P-Series Plus
26 Channel Polysomnography
Full PSG with up to 10 channels of EEG
