The SmartLink Paging System module (SPS) offers an innovative approach to on-site alarm monitoring.
Description
It provides the facility to monitor a multitude of hard-wired alarms and report them directly to an on-site pager.
Each of the 32 inputs may be programmed with a unique alphanumeric message. Once an alarm has been activated, a message describing the alarm condition appears on the pager.
Some of the common alarm monitoring applications include:
Nursecall/Emergency Systems
Building Management
Machinery Equipment
Duress Points
Fire Interface Panels
Industrial Alarms
Security Systems
Service Call Points
The unique alarm handling facilities of the SPS Paging System make it the most advanced means of getting a message to a person or a group of people quickly and efficiently from any active alarm.
Paging messages can be sent out instantly upon alarm activation or after a designated time period. Should a person fail to respond, the SPS Paging System can repeat the paging message to ensure that an alarm situation
has been responded to.
Each alarm may be programmed with the following parameters:
Alphanumeric message to send to the pager.
Normally Open/Normally Closed Alarm Status.
RIC/Cap code of pager to receive this alarm.
Time period to wait before sending out alarm message.
Repeat paging time.
Number of times to send the paging message.
Call tone to send to the pager
SMARTLINK PAGING SYSTEM (SPS)
32 inputs, either optically isolated or contact closure.
Supports international standard for paging – POCSAG.
Supports alphanumeric, numeric and tone only paging.
Alphanumeric messages up to 32 characters and numeric messages up to 20 digits in length.
Each input has a unique message, cap code, call tone, delay time, repeat time, number of repeats and activation state.
Sturdy attractive metal casing.
11 to 16 Volts D.C. operating voltage.
Completely PC programmable via the SPS PC.
Multiple SPS Paging Systems may be networked into a single transmitter.
Simple DB9 transmitter connector, compatible with all industry standard paging transmitters.
The Scribe Message Monitor may be used for a hard copy print out of paging messages
