The Sovereign S2 High Care Immersion stretcher support surface is a triple layered high care mattress with dual immersion technology. The second immersion layer is 4-zoned and profiled to provide optimal conformity to individual patients body, helping to relieve localised pressure on bony prominences, The profiled layer also optimises internal core circulation and ventilation. Supporting patients with a therapeutic weight range of up to 230kg.
The cover used as standard on all of the Forté stretcher mattresses is called the Double Coated Premiflex with Non-Slip Patches. The Double Coated Premiflex is a premium vapour permeable polyurethane that is soft to the touch and incorporates 4-way stretch characteristics – combining both pressure care and longevity for the demanding stretcher applications. Premiflex covers have a superior resistance to disinfection chemicals – 10,000ppm cleaning agent suitability, are fire retardant and are treated with anti-microbial protection. The non-slip patches on the base of the mattress provides excellent grip to the stretcher base – preventing sliding, and improving safety. All Forté waterproof hospital mattresses’covers have high frequency sealed and welded seams, protecting against risk of penetration of fluid and meeting all infection control requirements. Covers can be supplied with or with-out a zip, and with custom printing for identification purposes.
