Product Description
The PMS-01 air sampler is ideal for a wide range of biological sampling applications where it is critical to identify any microbial content and their concentrations in the atmosphere. Areas such as food and beverage production, pharmaceutical manufacture, product safety, and human health are examples of key applications.
The PMS-01 consists of a 110 mm sampling head and power supply with display. The sampling head is perforated and consists of numerous sieves through which air is aspirated. The use of multiple small holes helps to reduce particle superposition and to reduce microbial count error. A 90 mm Petri dish is located in a holder just beneath the perforated lid.
The PMS-01 utilises a low noise centrifugal blower with a nominal air flow of 100 L/min that generates a flow velocity through the sampling holes of 0.38 m/s. Sampling quantity of the PMS-01 can be set from 0.01 m³ - 9.0 m³.
The unit incorporates a rechargeable battery (with 6-8 hours of operating time) so that the lightweight air sampler can be moved to multiple locations within a facility.
Ordering Information
The PMS-01 is supplied in a rugged and lockable metal carrying case so that it can be safely transported to multiple locations.
