PureDet® is a mildly alkaline detergent formulated to comply to AS/NZS 4187 and AS/NZS 4815 standards.PureDet® is an environmental surface cleaner formulated to assist in the removal of organic substances including body fluids, blood, protein, fats, and lipids. The formula is specially developed for use in healthcare facilities and to ensure a complete hygiene for healthcare workers and patients.

There are a lot of people in healthcare environment are not aware of the differences and inappropriately use the least preferred agent. As we know organic matter can inactive many disinfectants, therefore it is important to clean before disinfectant. The reason being is cleaning reduces the bio-soil load and permitting the disinfectants to work. So, let's get it right! 

PureDet® contains alkaline builders/water softening agents that eliminate the effect of calcium and magnesium salts. Calcium and magnesium reduce the performance of surfactants and precipitate fatty acids contributing to soap scum.

The surfactant system and other ingredients used in PureDet® are classified as “not poisonous” according to the Poisons Schedule (Australia & Toxic Substances (NZ).
