TENS systems have been used by medical health professionals to alleviate pain for more than 50 years.  The Comfitt TENS system is a dual channel system – it has 2 leads, each with 2 electrodes so it can be used on two different areas of the body at the same time.  

Five easily changed programs can be used, ranging from constant to bursts 1 and 2, and modulations 1 and 2.  Intensity is easily adjusted using the two control knobs at the top of the unit. 

The unit features a large digital display that is used to show the programmes mentioned above, and can also display if required the treatment time in minutes .  Once the treatment has completed, the TENS machine automatically switches off.

This feature is very useful as a delay to enable a patient to get off to sleep before the unit switches itself off so it does not run all night wasting battery power.
