Indigo Care provides a New USB pressure sensitive Premium Floor Cushion “Crash” Sensor Mat that is designed for residents who are at risk of falling out of their bed, or those who require assistance in arising from the bed or a chair.  The USB connection is durable and robust with a low profile ensuring the cable is more secure and less vulnerable to breakages from external forces.  Unlike other floor mats, our Premium Mats is a three-piece sensor mat made of 40mm foldable firm foam with a detachable USB “Y” cable to reduce trip hazard and damage to the electrical cord and provide an economical replacement cost if required.  The USB Y-Cable is 3 meter long with a spare 6.3mm socket allowing the nurse call bell pendant to plug in as well so that either pressing the call button or standing on the mat will alert/trigger the nurse call system’s alarm.

Once the resident leaves the bed or chair and steps on the floor cushion, the sensor mat will activate the nurse call system and alert the staff.  Our Floor Cushion Sensor Mats provide the ultimate in Fall Injury Protection as we have added an extra 40 mm of foam padding in case the resident falls while attempting to stand or walk. This mat is designed to absorb and cushion the resident if they fall over at full impact.

Indigo Care provides a smart Australian designed Foldable Premium Cordless USB Cushion “Crash” Sensor Mat that is specifically designed to be used with our multifunctional USB Transmitter (RTU), and that will immediately alert staff when a resident steps on the sensor mat. The Cushion sensor mat is purposely designed for easier storage and trip-hazard free. The USB plug provides a    more secure electrical connection that increases the sensor mat’s strength and durability    whilst extending its lifespan. 

The USB transmitter is an exclusive ID encoded RF Transmitter which communicates with the Cordless Receiver (RRU) or the Universal Call Point (UCPV5.1). It allows the Cushion Floor mat to wirelessly transmit an alarm to the call point.

Simply connect the USB Transmitter to the cushion floor sensor mat and program it to the RRU or Dual Function Call Point by following the instructions printed on the Receiver. The cushion sensor mat will now trigger the call point when activated within the transmitting area.
