Indigo Care’s 8 Channel Falls Monitor & Transmitter is a perfect solution for monitoring your residents in a “Stand-A-Lone” community area and/or via a nurse call system. It is designed for our chair & bed mats/pads (with RJ11 plug) and a wireless module (RF Transmitter) with the monitor (RF Receiver).

A unique feature of the Alarm Monitor is its ability to program up to 8 sensor mats and transmitters giving you more monitoring options. It can be easily used with a wheelchair or in a communal area, from 1 to 8 chair sensor mats per monitor, with each mat requiring its own transmitter.  Since the transmitter module to monitor unit is cordless, it allows your residents to be simultaneously monitored anywhere in the facility (recommended line-of-sight is 30 metre).

To set up, Indigo Care’s bed or chair mat’s RJ11 connection will plug into the Fall Monitor’s Transmitter which is powered by 2 x AAA batteries.  Connect your sensor mat to the Transmitter’s RJ socket and switch the on/off switch to the ON position to program to the Fall Monitor. (separate programming instruction are provided).

We have included a wall mount bracket and the silicon chair mount strap which allow easy installation of the Monitor.  The Monitor is powered either by its included power adaptor or 3 x AA batteries that you can purchase separately. Three different alarm tones or mute mode can be selected as required. Once a resident gets up from the sensor mat, it will alarm and alert the staff, through your nurse call system. That’s it; easy to set up and easy to use!

Note: The kit includes a 6.3mm stereo lead with Tip & Sleeve (T3) wiring. Please check the wiring configuration of the Call Point before using the lead.

Note: Monitor & Transmitter are sold as a Kit. Sensor Mats can be purchased separately.
