This is most helpful to residents with incontinence issues. The mat's size is 381mm x 254mm and it  works in conjunction with the Deluxe Wet Sensor Monitor. The Wet Sensor Mat is placed on the bed, directly under the bed linen. The Deluxe Wet Sensor Monitor is connected to the wet sensor mat and then, with a Y cable, the mat is connected to your existing nurse call system via the monitor. If the resident were to have an “accident”, the mat’s sensor strips will detect the moisture and the alarm will sound alerting the staff. The mat is waterproof and easy to wipe down and clean. A set of instructions are printed on the back of the pad.
