WIRED BED SENSOR MAT:

Our mats are designed to immediately alert staff should a resident leave their bed which is most useful to residents who are at risk of falling out of their bed, or those who require assistance in arising from the bed. The mat is placed on the bed, directly under the bed linen. For a normally open call system, a monitor is connected to the bed sensor mat and then the mat is connected to your existing nurse call system with a Y Cable (via the monitor). Once the resident removes themselves from the mat and tries to leave the bed, the sensor mat will activate the monitor’s alarm and alert the staff. Set-up instructions are printed on the actual mat. Eyelets at the end of the mat are for easy storage.
