WIRED UNDER MATTRESS SENSOR MAT

Indigo Care provides a pressure sensitive Premium Under Mattress Sensor Mat that is designed to immediately alert staff should a resident leave their bed.  This is most useful to residents who are at risk of falling out of their bed, or those who require assistance in arising from the bed.  The mat is place underneath the mattress, directly under the buttock area.  For a normally open call system, a monitor is connected to the bed sensor mat and then the mat is connected to your existing nurse call system with a Y Cable (via the monitor). Once the resident removes themselves from the bed the sensor mat will activate the monitor’s alarm and alert the staff. Set-up instructions are printed on the part. Eyelets at the corner of the pad are used to strap the mat to a fixed position.  

Note:

(1) Under Mattress Sensor Mat may not work effectively with all the alternating air mattresses. Please check before purchase.

(2) It is recommended that the user be 35 kg or greater.

Indigo Care provides a pressure sensitive Premium Under Mattress Sensor Mat that is more comfortable and many more advantages. The sensor mats are designed to immediately alert staff should a resident leave their bed which is most useful to residents who are at risk of falling out of their bed, or those who require assistance in arising from the bed. 

The transmitter is an exclusive ID encoded RF Transmitter which communicates with the Wireless Receiver Box (RRU). It allows the sensor mat to wirelessly transmit an alarm to the call point. Simply connect the Transmitter to the sensor mat. Then teach in the Transmitter to RRU by following the instructions printed. The sensor mat will now trigger the call point when activated within the transmitting area. It can be integrated to most nurse call systems.  (Note: Transmitter and Under Mattress Sensor mat can be ordered separately)
